During the hot summer months, in order to effectively safeguard employees’ health and safety and prevent accidents and heat‑related illnesses such as heatstroke, the company invited Dr. Ye Liuxiang from Taizhou Maternity and Child Health Hospital to conduct a training session on summer heat‑stroke prevention and emergency first aid at the Training Center on the afternoon of July 28, 2020. More than 80 employees from all departments attended the session.
Dr. Ye, drawing on this year’s COVID‑19 pandemic and our company’s working environment, provided expert guidance on heatstroke prevention in high‑temperature conditions. He thoroughly explained the symptoms, diagnosis, and first aid for heatstroke, as well as emergency response procedures for drowning, airway obstruction by foreign bodies, sports injuries, and other accidental injuries. He also offered detailed instructions on key aspects of chest compressions, including location, depth, rate, and duration, followed by hands‑on demonstrations and on‑site practice sessions.
This training session was delivered in a slideshow format, providing participants with essential health education on topics such as what constitutes a healthy lifestyle, how to maintain it, and its importance. Dr. Ye’s engaging and detailed presentation, coupled with his witty and humorous teaching style, proved highly beneficial for every attendee.
Through this training, all employees have strengthened their self‑rescue and mutual‑assistance capabilities in emergency situations, enabling them to provide critical support until professional first responders arrive and establishing a first line of safety protection on the job.
