“Joint Efforts in Epidemic Prevention, Safe and Peaceful Holidays” — An Appeal to All Employees of SUSA

Dear colleagues:

Over the past year, the memory of the global ravages of COVID‑19 remains vivid. In this war without smoke and fire, our great motherland broke through the ice and set sail, forging a Chinese model for combating the pandemic. Since the outbreak, the nation has mobilized every available resource to safeguard the lives and property of its people. With wisdom and steadfastness, with inclusiveness and selflessness, we have demonstrated the responsibility of a major country. Throughout this battle, all members of the Suxa community have actively cooperated with the government’s plans and arrangements. In 2020, we delivered a satisfactory performance through concrete actions—something truly heartening.

At present, China is experiencing a complex and severe epidemic situation, characterized by sporadic cases interwoven with localized clusters. As the Spring Festival travel rush approaches, local governments have issued an appeal urging people to “stay put unless absolutely necessary” and have introduced several measures to encourage out-of-town employees to remain in Taizhou for the holiday. SUSA is fully cooperating with the national government’s epidemic prevention efforts and remains committed to safeguarding the health and safety of all our colleagues. In light of the current challenging pandemic landscape, we would like to extend this call to every member of the SUSA family:

I. Supporting Pandemic Prevention and Celebrating the Festival in Thailand A joyful and harmonious Spring Festival begins with the safety and health of every family member. With the virus ever‑present, choosing to stay in Thailand for the holiday provides you with added protection and peace of mind for your loved ones. For employees who are unable to return home to reunite with their families, the company will make every effort to ensure comprehensive support, carefully planning and arranging food, accommodation, and transportation so that everyone can enjoy a safe and comfortable Spring Festival.

II. Travel Safety: Please remain vigilant. For employees who must return home, the company will do its utmost to arrange transportation to train stations and airports in order to minimize person-to-person contact and reduce risks. At the same time, please prioritize your personal safety during your journey, take appropriate protective measures, and take extra precautions to safeguard yourself in areas where SuSa cannot provide adequate support.

III. Stay Safe at Home and Celebrate the Festival Joyfully. During the 2020 Spring Festival, we already gained valuable experience in fighting the epidemic. We are confident that the current outbreak is only temporary. During the Spring Festival, please continue to practice personal protective measures: avoid gatherings, minimize outings, wear masks, and stay safely at home to celebrate the New Year with peace of mind.

Winter has arrived—how far away could spring be? With vaccines now available, we will strive to vaccinate everyone as soon as possible. With a strong motherland, with all of us united in purpose, and drawing on our successful experience in fighting the pandemic, victory over the epidemic is just around the corner!
